Scriptural evidence would have us believe that the earth is only around 6000 years old but science says otherwise. It states that a new era of humanity will come forth every 7000 years. The Bible clearly mentions certain incidents that happened in the past and will happen again eventually.
Among those who follow Christianity as well as other religions, many do believe that mankind as we know it were not the first intelligent creatures to walk the Earth.
